Quality is an important part of the Compagnie Alimentaire’s activity. The quality of products, service or working conditions of its employees are considered as priority issues.

Quality & Products:

The Compagnie Alimentaire implements a permanent control of its products to ensure the best quality.

  • Selection of our suppliers on accurate criteria: quality of products, labels, certifications and actions related to sustainable development.
  • Steady control and monitoring of raw materials upon receipt, based on physical and organoleptic tests.
  • Supervision of the quality of the products and production workshops all along the manufacturing process: roasting and transformation of nuts, preparation of the aperitif mixes to order.
  • Preserving conditions: most of our products are packaged in a protective atmosphere or vacuum packed, ensuring an optimal shelf life (the “best before” date).

    Few quality check actions examples:

    • Monthly microbiological analysis plan: raw materials, products during and after their transformation.
    • Periodical control of the frying oil temperature and saturation level.
    • Daily control of the cold rooms temperatures and of the nitrogen level of the products packaged in protective atmosphere.
    • Control of the organoleptic quality of the products being manufactured.

Quality & Organic:

Since 2009 the Compagnie Alimentaire has been offering a complete range of organic products, only working with certified, rigorously selected partners.

  • A complete and varied range of breakfast products: organic jams and cereals..
  • During the year 2010 we developed our organic range by extending it to bar, minibar and pastry. These new certified aperitif mixes and preparations are available in bulk or jars.
  • All our organic products are certified “Ingredient of agricultural origin conforming to organic standards” by Ecocert FR-BIO-01.

    Quality & Service:

Quality of service is one of the Compagnie Alimentaire’s priorities. We are always available and ready to answer our clients’ requests.

  • Reactivity in answering our clients’ needs by searching customized solutions to each of our customers’ projects.
  • Conscientious processing of the non-conformity and implementation of a special file compiling our customers claims in order to analyse our dysfunction and prevent any recurrence.

Quality & Working conditions:

Because we think that working in good conditions is fundamental to achieve a quality work, the Compagnie Alimentaire is committed to its employees.

  • Implication of the company in the in-service training for its employees.
  • Implementation of a single document to prevent accident risks.
  • Regular analysis of the working conditions and research for continuous improvement.
  • Technology watch on all the working tools improvements so that we purchase as a priority machines that decrease the work hardness.

Important dates:

  • HACCP procedure started in 2007, adjusted every year to improve the quality level at the Compagnie Alimentaire.
  • Ecocert licence on the 11/30/2009 attesting of our involvement in respecting the organic production process.
    • First conformity certificates in 2009 for several cereals and jams.
    • In 2010, extension of our organic range with new jam flavours, new cereal mixes and cereal bars.
    • New organic certified products in late 2010: nut mixes, chips...
