  • Important dates:

1922 – Creation of the company specialized in the trade of nuts and colonial products.

1951 – Launching of the nuts and peanuts roasting activity, the oldest still working in France.

1979 – Set up of the company in a business park near the harbour of Marseille.

1998 – First preparations of nuts for the luxury hotel market.

Quality

Based in a 2500m2 warehouse close to the harbour of Marseille, the Compagnie Alimentaire has roasting and preparing equipments as much as packaging lines. About thirty experienced people prepare, manage and trade up to 6 tons of products each day.

To satisfy our customers, most of whom are culinary experts, we use our historical savoir-faire and an excellent knowledge of raw materials.

  • Selection of high quality nuts from the best origins and the latest crop.
  • Roasting, transformation of nuts and preparation of mixes to order to provide the best freshness.
  • Great care packing of the products and carefully followed orders until their delivery.

We offer top quality innovative products, fitting each client’s need.

Most of the luxury hotels and restaurants in France are being part of our customers, and we have a lot of clients and references all around the world: in Europe, Asia, Middle East… 

 

Many of our clients are great names of fine dining with whom we share a privileged relationship. This keeps us up-to-date with the current trends and evolutions of the market. We then adapt our products and seek for customized solutions to meet each of our clients’ expectations.
